Job Summary:
The Acquisition Data, Automation, and Tech Specialist is a hands‑on operator embedded in the acquisition team—responsible for the reliability and continuous improvement of the systems that power our acquisition engine. This role connects the dots across paid media, web capture, CRM (Salesforce), lifecycle automation, and analytics to improve marketing and sales efficiency and effectiveness.
This is a strong fit for someone fluent in modern automation approaches (no‑code/low‑code and/or light scripting), comfortable working directly in Salesforce and BI/reporting environments, and excited to use AI tools and agent-based workflows (e.g., Claude) to accelerate implementation, troubleshooting, and iteration.
Essential Job Functions for this role include:
Acquisition Systems & Growth Tech Operations
• Own the operational health of acquisition workflows across the funnel (capture → CRM → follow‑up → measurement), ensuring reliability, speed, and accuracy.
• Build and maintain integrations and automations between systems such as CRM, forms/scheduling tools, paid media platforms, and reporting pipelines using modern integration approaches (native connectors, no‑code/low‑code platforms, and/or light scripting where appropriate).
• Identify high-impact manual processes and replace them with scalable automations and clearer operating workflows.
Salesforce (CRM) Administration & Enablement
• Own acquisition-facing Salesforce configuration and administration required for marketing and sales workflows (e.g., key fields, lifecycle/stage consistency, routing/assignment logic, attribution inputs, validation rules, and workflow automations).
• Ensure CRM data created via acquisition systems is accurate, consistently structured, and usable downstream for reporting and optimization.
• Partner with Technology and Product teams on platform-level changes while owning day‑to‑day configuration, QA, and ongoing maintenance for acquisition workflows.
Adtech & Commercialization
• Partner with technology to launch key initiatives to improve conversion (e.g., lead scoring, lead routing) and maintain/optimize ongoing systems
• Build and maintain AdTech systems including audience creation, value-based bidding logic, and more
Analytics Enablement (Power BI or Equivalent)
• Improve the reliability and usability of dashboards by ensuring upstream systems generate consistent, well-defined, reliable data inputs.
• Support back-end data processes, e.g, connecting marketing platforms to PowerBI dashboards or other reporting tools.
• Support CRM‑to‑paid‑platform measurement signals where applicable (e.g., lifecycle-based conversion events), ensuring the right data is captured and mapped reliably.
• Support clean tracking and measurement across acquisition channels by maintaining campaign metadata, taxonomy, and conversion definitions.
• Implement lightweight validation checks so data issues are caught early and do not silently degrade decision-making or prospect experience.
Monitoring, QA, and Operational Reliability
• Leverage tools like Zapier to implement automated monitoring and alerting for critical workflows so failures are detected quickly (e.g., missing records, broken handoffs, integration failures, unexpected data behavior).
• Partner with analytics team to establish strong QA discipline (testing, change control, documentation/runbooks) so improvements are repeatable and do not introduce regressions.
AI Tools & Agent-Based Workflows
• Use AI tools and agent-based workflows (e.g., Claude) to accelerate design, documentation, debugging, and iteration on acquisition systems and automations.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities where AI-assisted workflows improve speed, quality, or reliability—while maintaining appropriate guardrails and human oversight.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• 5–8+ years of experience in acquisition operations, marketing operations, growth operations, marketing technology/adtech CRM operations, or analytics enablement roles.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations and automations across marketing/sales systems (no‑code/low‑code and/or light scripting) and paid media platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, etc).
• Experience with CRM systems and high comfort in Salesforce, particularly on concepts relevant to automation and data integrity (attribution fields, contact / opportunity objects, validation rules, and automations)
• Comfort using automation tools similar to Zapier
• Experience supporting BI/reporting environments (Power BI or equivalent) through strong upstream data ownership.
• Bonus: comfortable with light/ AI based coding.
Work Schedule:
This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal client needs.
All roles classified as a non-exempt are required to record working time into the timekeeping system daily at the start and end of each workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.
Working Conditions:
This position may be in a professional office environment or a dedicated home office workspace which is free of interruptions. Whether position is in a dedicated office space or home office workspace, basic technology needs will be provided to satisfy position requirements. Routinely sitting and standing for periods of time. No heavy lifting over 10 lbs.
Actual base pay within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills and licenses/certifications.
