About the project

As a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping our cloud architecture, enhancing operational reliability, and automating our infrastructure processes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. Your expertise in containerization, scripting, and infrastructure as code will be instrumental in accelerating our deployment cycles and improving system resilience.

How you'll contribute

✅ Architect and manage cloud infrastructure and application services on AWS, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
✅ Implement and maintain containerization strategies using Docker, AWS Fargate.
✅ Develop and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell and Python to streamline operations.
✅ Utilize IaC tools such as Packer and Terraform for efficient infrastructure provisioning and management.
✅ Optimize and maintain SQL servers and databases for performance and reliability.
✅ Collaborate with development teams to incorporate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
✅ Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
✅ Conduct system audits, improve security postures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

This would make you the ideal candidate

✨ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
✨ 5+ Years of experience working in an SRE/DevOps role with a strong background in AWS cloud services.
✨ Proficient in scripting with Python.
✨ Proficiency in one or more shells like Bash or PowerShell.
✨ Extensive experience with IaC tools, specifically Terraform and Serverless Framework.
✨ Understanding of SQL and experience managing relational databases.
✨ Knowledge of the basics of NoSQL (DynamoDB).
✨ Expertise with EC2.
✨ Configuration and automation experience with CentOS/Debian/Windows.
✨ Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, AWS Fargate).
✨ Expertise in serverless technologies (Lambda, Api Gateway).
✨ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
✨ Experience with APM monitoring tools and the use of metrics/logs/traces.
✨ Solid understanding of CI tools like GitLab and Jenkins.
✨ Solid understanding of networking and experience with AWS networking technologies.
✨ Understanding deployment strategies and basic tenants of one or more of these stacks: Nodejs, Java, PHP, .NET.
✨ Understanding of what security is and why across different product domains.
✨ Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
