THE ROLE

As a Zuora Developer at Pure Storage, you will be the technical architect behind our mission-critical subscription and billing engine. You will drive the evolution of our financial ecosystem by designing sophisticated workflows and leading our transition to advanced models like Order Harmonization. Collaborating closely with Finance, Sales Ops, and Engineering, you will ensure our billing platform scales seamlessly as we continue to outpace the industry in growth and innovation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

•
Architect Complex Workflows: Design and deploy advanced Zuora workflows using Lambda functions, ZOQL, and liquid-based operations to automate intricate billing cycles and data processing.

•
Lead Strategic Transitions: Manage the technical migration from Zuora Subscription Billing to Order Harmonization, overseeing API re-architecting and process optimization to ensure zero-disruption to revenue operations.

Synchronize the Ecosystem: Build and maintain robust integrations between Zuora, Salesforce (via 360 Sync), and NetSuite to ensure real-time data integrity across our lead-to-cash pipeline.

•
Customize for Scale: Configure and tune the Zuora Product Catalog, security settings, and communication profiles to support rapid product launches and evolving subscription lifecycles.

Solve Technical Hurdles: Translate complex business requirements into high-performance technical solutions, acting as the subject matter expert for role-based security, revenue metrics, and custom invoice templating.

WHAT YOU BRING

•
Zuora Development Expertise: Deep technical proficiency in Zuora APIs, ZOQL, and workflow design, with a focus on subscription billing and payment solutions.

•
Integration & ERP Knowledge: Proven experience integrating billing platforms with Salesforce and ERP systems (like NetSuite), including expertise in configuring 360 Sync and managing REST API callouts.

•
Order-to-Cash Fluency: A strong understanding of the subscription lifecycle—from amendments and renewals to revenue recognition and finance-driven reporting.

•
Modern Billing Architecture: Specific experience navigating Zuora Order Harmonization and a track record of implementing automated billing solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
