As a Zoho Developer, you will be responsible for owning, maintaining, and expanding the Zoho environment—primarily Zoho CRM, with integrations across the broader Zoho ecosystem and third-party tools. You’ll work closely with our operations, marketing, and sales teams to translate business needs into scalable, automated workflows that improve efficiency, data quality, and reporting.

Our client is a U.S.-based group of affiliated companies operating at the intersection of legal technology and mass tort litigation. The organization includes a legal technology platform that automates medical record retrieval and case qualification for law firms, a Washington, D.C.–based mass tort litigation firm, and related holding entities. It is a lean, high-growth environment where each team member plays a significant and impactful role.
As they continue to expand their Philippine-based team, they are looking to hire a skilled Zoho Developer to manage and enhance their Zoho CRM environment, build integrations, and streamline workflows to support business operations.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both execution and analysis—owning core accounting processes while contributing insights that support business decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Zoho CRM Administration & Maintenance
• Manage day-to-day configuration of Zoho CRM (modules, fields, layouts, views, validation rules, assignment rules, blueprints, etc.)
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
Workflow Automation & Customization
• Design and implement complex workflows to support business processes
• Build and maintain custom functions using Deluge to automate repetitive tasks, improve user experience, and solve problems
• Configure scoring rules, assignment rules, and process automations for leads, contacts, deals, and custom modules
Integrations & APIs
• Integrate Zoho CRM with other Zoho apps (e.g., Zoho Desk, Zoho Flow, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Sign) and third-party tools (e.g., Google Workspace, telephony/call tracking, web forms, marketing platforms)
• Work with APIs and webhooks to build and maintain connections between Zoho and external systems
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to scope, test, and deploy new integrations
Custom Modules & Solution Design
• Design and build new Zoho CRM modules to address evolving business needs, including custom fields, layouts, relationships, and permissions
• Work with stakeholders (sales, marketing, operations, leadership) to understand pain points and translate them into structured CRM solutions rather than ad-hoc workarounds
• Model data relationships between standard and custom modules (e.g., Leads, Clients, custom objects) to ensure scalability, reporting accuracy, and a clean user experience
• Configure related lists, subforms, and lookup fields so users can easily access all relevant information in one place
• Extend new modules with automation (workflows, blueprints, assignment rules, custom Deluge functions) to streamline processes and reduce manual work. Prototype, test, and iterate on new modules in a sandbox or controlled environment before deploying to production
• Document new modules and processes, including naming conventions, field usage, and business rules, to ensure long-term maintainability and clear handoffs
Documentation
• Document system architecture, workflows, integrations, and SOPs to ensure long-term maintainability
Governance & Best Practices
• Implement and enforce best practices for roles, profiles, permissions, and data security
• Use sandbox/testing environments where appropriate to QA changes before production deployment
• Continuously evaluate new Zoho features and recommend improvements to our setup
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Zoho CRM in an admin/developer role
• Strong experience with:
• Zoho CRM customization (modules, fields, layouts, validation, blueprints)
• Deluge scripting (custom functions, schedules, webhooks)
• Workflow automation, assignment rules, and approvals
• Proven experience integrating Zoho CRM with:
• Other Zoho apps (e.g., Desk, Flow, Campaigns, Analytics, Sign)
• Third-party tools via APIs, webhooks, or middleware (e.g., Zoho Flow, Zapier, Make)
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Must have own equipment
Advantageous or Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:
• Experience with call tracking / telephony integrations (e.g., JustCall, RingCentral, Twilio, etc.)
• Familiarity with Zoho Analytics, custom dashboards, and advanced reporting
• Experience in professional services, legal, SaaS, or high-volume lead environments
