Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Zoho CRM Developer / Systems Integrations Architect to design, build, and maintain our Zoho CRM as the central system for our sales, purchasing, vendor management, and financial operations.
This is not a basic configuration or admin role. You will own the technical architecture of the platform — building custom modules, integrating external systems and distributors, automating business processes, ensuring data accuracy, and scaling the system as the company grows.
You will act as both developer and system architect, translating operational requirements into reliable, automated workflows.
CRM Architecture & System Design
Design overall CRM structure and data model
Define best practices for modules, relationships, naming conventions, and scalability
Ensure system performance, stability, and maintainability
Plan for long-term growth and new feature expansion
Custom Development
Develop using Deluge scripting, Zoho APIs, and custom functions
Build and maintain custom modules including:
Vendors
Products/Catalogs
Quotes
Sales Orders
Purchase Orders
RMAs
Vendor Bills
Invoices
Credit Memos
Implement advanced automation using workflows, blueprints, and validation rules
Distributor & Third-Party Integrations
Integrate distributor systems (Ingram Micro, D&H, TD SYNNEX, etc.)
Automate product catalog imports and real-time updates
Sync pricing, availability, and order data
Build and maintain API integrations with external services
Monitor and maintain integration reliability
Financial & Accounting Workflows
Design complete quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes
Apply credits and credit memos to customer accounts
Track vendor invoices and purchasing
Configure accounting categories and revenue tracking
Configure tax logic:
US State Tax Rules
Tax exemptions
Canadian eco-fees for hardware
Integrate payment gateways/credit card processing
Integrate with Zoho Books or other accounting systems as needed
Automation & Process Optimization
Create Blueprints to enforce standardized processes
Eliminate manual tasks through automation
Improve operational efficiency and data accuracy
Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements
Reporting & Analytics
Build real-time dashboards and reports for:
Opportunities & pipeline
Quotes & orders
Revenue & margins
Invoicing & collections
Vendor purchasing
Create executive-level KPIs and operational metrics
Data Management & Governance
Maintain clean, normalized, and accurate data
Manage imports, migrations, and duplication
Implement validation rules and data controls
Manage backups and system integrity
Security & Permissions
Configure roles, profiles, and user permissions
Ensure secure handling of financial and customer data
Implement access controls and audit practices
Support & Maintenance
Troubleshoot system issues and integration errors
Respond to internal support tickets
Perform ongoing enhancements and updates
Document all configurations and processes
Future Scope
Develop an online customer portal/storefront within Zoho
Enable customers to place orders directly through the CRM
Expand automation and self-service features
Required Qualifications
3 years hands-on Zoho CRM development experience
Strong Deluge scripting skills
Experience with Zoho APIs and third-party integrations
Experience building complex workflows and blueprints
Experience handling large product catalogs and pricing automation
Strong understanding of accounting/ERP processes (invoicing, credits, taxes, vendor bills)
Experience with payment gateway integrations
Ability to architect scalable systems, not just configure modules
Preferred / Nice to Have
Zoho Creator experience
Zoho Books or Zoho Finance Suite experience
Experience in IT distribution/reseller environments
E-commerce or portal development
REST API and middleware experience
SQL or database design knowledge
