Mortgage - Year-End Data Integrity- Servicing System Analyst

Our client is a growing, highly stable mortgage company. This is a newly created position due to growth. Position may be based in Dallas TX or Orange County CA. The Data Integrity/Year End Leader will oversee all of mortgage servicing day to day year end reporting operations. This position will interact with other business unit managers, legal, compliance, auditors and senior management. This position will also be responsible to providing business unit support and ensuring that all year end reporting processes are compliant and in line with IRS regulations as well as an understanding of business initiatives (new products, modification programs, investors, etc.) and impact on year-end, enact changes. Should have strong knowledge of tax laws/GSE/GNMA requirements.

Responsibilities Include: 

Implement and monitor process controls for data integrity as it relates to year end output

 Effectively utilize systems and reports to resolve issues

 Maintain communication with the business units management for department deliverables accuracy and timely year end processing

 Track monthly year end checklist from bankruptcy and foreclosure groups. 

 Work with Business units to ensure they understand their requirements for year end

 Conduct meetings monthly with the lines of business

Maintain working relationship with Compliance and Legal to ensure all year end processes are compliant

Research compliance issues and work with the business units to develop policies and procedures based on findings

 In addition to monthly tracking, perform quarterly year end process reviews

 Assist with process automation concepts as needed to improve efficiency

 Communicate BKFS enhancements for MSP Year End to all levels of management and staff who are assigned to year end reporting for their line of business

Coordinate training with yea rend coordinator for employees on Year End Reports and policies

 Lead Year End meetings and assist as needed by business in Year End activities to avoid a Year End rerun.

Minimum Requirements: 

 Mortgage Loan Servicing

 Strong Knowledge of MSP system and reports (At least 7 years)

 4 Years hands on year End reporting experience

 Proficient MS Word, Excel skills are required.

 Experience with MS Project and Access is preferred.

 Familiarity with IRS mortgage servicing regulations

College or post graduate degree.
