As part of our continued success, we’re growing our Logistics team and looking for an experienced Yard Team Member to join us at our Brookfoot site.
So, what's the mission?
Your main duties will include moving stock from the production area into the yard using an FLT. You will operate a range of mobile plant equipment, including FLTs, loading shovels, and telehandlers with various power mount attachments to move products across the yard and site.
You will also support wider yard activities, including safely and efficiently loading and unloading vehicles while supporting the smooth running of overall yard operations, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, ensuring full compliance with company policies, and promoting best working practices at all times. Reporting to the Operations Team Manager, you will work in a performance-driven environment where safety, quality, waste reduction, and KPI targets are key priorities, and you will be expected to actively contribute to maintaining these standards.
What are the mission-critical skills?
• Previous experience or understanding of working within mobile plant equipment
• Telehandler and/or loading shovel license is desirable
• An FLT Licence and previous experience operating a forklift truck
• Experiencing working in areas where workplace transport health and safety is practised
• Excellent teamwork skills within a busy environment
• Good communication skills
