Job Description

Job Summary

Assist Yard lead with loading, unloading, cleaning and maintenance of all equipment in the yard. Assist with inventory and yard maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist Yard Lead with duties

Pressure wash all equipment as needed

Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Assist with pulling orders

Perform miscellaneous duties assigned by the Yard Foremen and Lead

Help maintain a clean and orderly yard

Operate equipment as needed in the yard

Adhere to B&F Code of Conduct

Required Skills & Abilities

High school diploma or GED

2 year’s experience performing yard activities

Working knowledge of Yard and other activities on location including methods of loading

Ability to operate all machinery and equipment used in the Yard

Ability to read and write in English

Knowledge of basic math

Bilingual Spanish a plus

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to:

An outdoor yard environment, subject to variations in temperature and weather conditions, equipment noise, and dust

Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds

May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling

Moving mechanical parts

Precarious places

Fumes or airborne particles

Outside weather conditions

Extreme heat

Frequent and/or sustained loud noises
