X-Ray Technician (PRN)

VSI is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team.

In this flexible, as-needed role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform radiologic exams using X-ray equipment in compliance with physician orders and safety standards

Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure high-quality diagnostic images

Maintain imaging equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment

Accurately document patient records and imaging procedures

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members

Adhere to HIPAA and infection control guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

Valid Virginia Radiologic Technologist License (RT(R))

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required

CPR/BLS certification

Minimum of 1 year of clinical X-ray experience preferred

Ability to work flexible hours

Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient care
