Role Summary and Impact
The Finance Manager will be responsible for various aspects of financial business operations and accounting. You will be a critical partner in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. You will be a key contributor to the overall financial health of the company and the team's success.
• Manage the month-end close process, including review, journal entry submission and reporting package preparation of the financial statements and related schedules.
• Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast process.
• Preparation of payments, bank reconciliation and ensure proper cash flow management.
• Understand results and respond to questions from management.
• Manage payroll and staffing requests.
• Prepare quarterly NSSF and MoF submissions and review tax returns (VAT).
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of annual audits.
• Implement and maintain the necessary internal controls.
• Responsible for maintaining a relationship with banks, maintain and update authorized signatories.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.
• Ensure the completion of weekly and monthly reports in coordination with the regional team in line with the agreed deadlines.
• Ensure risk and control management is conducted in full compliance with WPP policies and processes

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (CPA and/or MBA a plus).
• 6+ years’ experience in a related field.
• Detail-oriented, good organizational skills and persistent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Team player who can function well in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and work within strict deadlines
• Proactive “can-do” attitude
• High proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, charts, etc.
