Reports to: Location Worship Pastor
Work Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 25 hours per week
Job Summary:
The Worship Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support for the Location Worship Pastor and Department. This person must possess an unyielding love for Jesus and the local church and a natural ability to execute at a high level as part of a fast-moving creative team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Faith-based Requirements:
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ that results in a life lived in obedience to the will of God as described in the Word of God, evident by spiritual fruit and the desire to grow in the Lord
Support the works of the ministry of Radiant Church
Beliefs consistent with Radiant Church’s Statement of Faith
Willing to become, if not already, a member of Radiant Church within 6 months of employment
Demonstrate a commitment to handling conflict Biblically, following principles in Matthew 18
Duties/Responsibilities:
Process all incoming and outgoing communications
Assist location worship pastor in management of work calendar
Document creation, preparation, and distribution
Coordinate all printing and copying jobs (charts, handouts, posters, etc.)
Coordinate the volunteer Worship team by scheduling and sending reminders as necessary
Manage follow-up communication with potential team members
Function as point of contact for all matters pertaining to the smooth operation of the Location Worship department
Oversee ordering, pick up, and delivery of supplies for weekend services
Oversee green room for weekend services
Coordinate interdepartmental projects and events
Keep background checks up to date for volunteer team
Schedule follow-up pastoral meetings
Assist Location Worship Pastor in running Worship Leader Network Forum
Assisting on worship sets and attending rehearsals as needed
Assist Coordinating and planning of Radiant Worship events alongside the Central Operations Director
Required to be at Special Events
Attend all Be Radiant classes
Meet with and raise up volunteer leaders
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Able to adapt under pressure and to quickly and creatively handle problems as they arise with a positive attitude
Self-starter who takes initiative
Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills
Proficient in meeting task deadlines and project timeline requirements
Attention to detail with an eye for excellence
Respond in a timely manner (within 24 hours) to all ministry-related inquiries
Able to delegate tasks and inspire volunteers
Mac OS experience preferred but not required
A valid driver's license is required
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related work experience
Associates degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to remain standing/sitting for long periods of time
Must be able to bend and twist at the waist
Schedule:
Sunday – 6:30AM - 1:30PM (7 HOURS)
Monday – 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM (3 HOURS)
Tuesday – 8:00AM - 4:00PM (8 HOURS)
Wednesday – OFF
Thursday – 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM & 5:00PM - 8:00 PM (7 HOURS)
Friday - OFF
Saturday - OFF
Total: 25 Hours
Flexible to change certain parts of this schedule, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursday Mornings as needed.
