For our client, we are looking for a Workstation Engineering / Endpoint Factory Specialist to operate and continuously improve the “factory line” for corporate workstations. The role focuses on standardized builds, automation, and secure, repeatable provisioning processes for both office-based and remote workforce at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities
•
Own workstation build standards, including golden images, configuration baselines, driver and application packs, and versioning.
•
Execute and continuously improve OS deployment using SCCM / MECM and PowerShell, covering packaging, patching, and software distribution.
•
Implement and operate modern provisioning approaches where applicable, including Windows Autopilot, co-management patterns with ConfigMgr and Intune, and improvements to remote provisioning.
•
Manage the device and application lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with the service catalog.
•
Troubleshoot device enrollment, application deployment, and endpoint security configurations; coordinate with Security and Service Desk teams.
•
Track and maintain operational KPIs such as build time, failure rate, compliance levels, patch latency, and reimage turnaround time.
Required Experience & Skills
•
3–6 years of experience in enterprise endpoint engineering (Windows 10/11).
•
Hands-on experience with imaging and task sequences, application packaging, and patch management.
•
Solid knowledge of Active Directory and GPO.
•
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and a structured troubleshooting approach.
Nice to Have
•
Experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
•
Exposure to Citrix / VDI environments.
