About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Assistant to join the team in our Forrestdale Workshop.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Workshop Assistant will provide vital assistance in ensuring and clean and functional workshop and assistance to our skilled boilermakers.

Key responsibilities of the role

Keep the workshop and yard clean, organised, and free of hazards

Check and record incoming deliveries and coordinate outgoing dispatches

Perform general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas

Handle goods receipt, sorting, and preparation for production

Provide hands-on assistance to boilermakers

Run errands and collect parts or materials as needed

Location and roster
This is a permanent Monday to Friday role based in Forrestdale, Perth.

What you will need
An ability to demonstrate a high work ethic, reliability, and safe work practices together with a positive mindset.

Essential criteria:

Demonstrated experience in a similar role

Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organisational skills

Current C class driver's licence

National Police Clearance

Desirable criteria:

Licence to operate a Forklift

First Aid
