Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workpack Engineer to support construction readiness by developing and managing high-quality Construction and Installation Work Packs (CWP/IWP). This role plays a critical part in translating engineering deliverables into executable field instructions while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment across piping and construction projects.
The ideal candidate has strong technical documentation skills, hands-on experience in work pack or test pack development, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, update, and manage Construction and Installation Work Packs (CWP/IWP) including job cards, method statements, risk assessments, and supporting documentation
Translate engineering deliverables (P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, 2D/3D models) into clear and executable field instructions
Generate SpoolGen outputs, including spool drawings, flange management maps, and weld tracking documentation
Perform material take-offs and quantify materials and consumables required for execution
Prepare technical procurement packages and detailed work scopes
Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to align construction schedules with material availability
Ensure constructability, safety, quality, and budget considerations are embedded in all work packs
Develop test packs for hydrotesting and service testing, including system mark-ups and documentation
Identify and document scope changes in accordance with change management procedures
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies in documentation and delivery
Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, including strict adherence to zero-tolerance workplace policies
Perform other related tasks as assigned by Management or the Client
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience in work pack or test pack development
Proven experience in oil & gas, mining, steel fabrication, or heavy industrial project execution.
Strong understanding of equipment and piping design, construction sequencing, and workpack development.
Solid background in quantity surveying or engineering technology
Proficiency in Navisworks, SpoolGen, PDF Acrobat, and MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, IConstruct, and StruMIS is desirable
Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday - Friday, morning shift)
