Your mission:
Our data centres don’t just rely on powerful technology – they also need smooth and reliable processes behind the scenes. To ensure orders arrive on time, invoices are processed correctly and bottlenecks are avoided, we are looking for a Working Student to support our Supply Chain Management team in day-to-day operations.
As part of the Datacentre Operations (Order Management) team, you will help ensure that everything our data centres need is in the right place at the right time. By supporting our operational activities, you enable the team to focus more on strategic, technical and optimisation-related topics.
Your tasks:
• Procurement & Order Processing: You request and compare quotations, coordinate approvals and deliveries, enter orders into our ERP system (Odoo) and ensure accurate documentation.Odoo) and ensure accurate documenta
• Reporting & Analysis: You support the creation of reports and analyses on topics such as costs, capacity and energy consumption.
• Contract & Invoice Management: You maintain contract and invoice data and ensure that tickets and documentation remain complete and traceable.
• KPI Tracking & Process Controlling: You monitor supplier performance, process lead times and cost developments – and contribute your own ideas for improvement.
• Supplier & Compliance Management: You support audits and assist with contract negotiations.
• Stocktakes: You help prepare and carry out inventories and ensure high data quality.
Requirements:
• Ongoing studies, ideally in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Interest in (or initial experience with) ERP systems (e.g. Odoo)
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, precise way of working
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset – you enjoy working with different departments and external partners
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take responsibility
• Good German and English skills (at least B2 level)
