Hours: 20 hours/week
Desired starting date: immediately
Duration: at least 1 year (you must be enrolled for at least one more year at a recognised higher education institution and we ask you to indicate this when you apply)

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our Security Engineering team. In this role, you will support our team in protecting and strengthening a modern, cloud-native technology environment while helping to shape the future of application and AI security within the company. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with experienced security engineers, contribute to real projects, and gain practical experience in cloud security, AppSec, and AI security.

If you are eager to learn, curious about emerging technologies, and motivated to grow into a security engineering career, this role is for you.

How your role will look like:

• Support the implementation of secure-by-design principles in cloud-native environment

• Help improve automated security checks within CI/CD pipelines

• Contribute to strengthening application security practices

• Assist in building automation scripts or internal tools to improve security processes

• Collaborate with engineers to understand vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts

• Research emerging security and AI trends and share insights with the team

What you need to succeed:

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related technical field

• Strong interest in Cloud Security and Application Security

• Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar)

• Basic understanding of software development and cloud environments

• Curiosity about AI technologies

• Nice to have: Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CI/CD concepts, containers, or security automation.
