As a Working Student in the System Test and Prototyping Department, you will play a key role in building Quantum-Systems' next generation of products. Your main responsibility will be to support the rapid development of prototypes by assembling, testing, and refining innovative concepts. From initial builds to functional validation, you will ensure high-quality execution and contribute to turning ideas into reality.
Based in Gilching, you’ll work hands-on with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, following an agile and practical approach to innovation. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will help accelerate the development process and deliver impactful solutions.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
• Assemble and build drone prototypes based on engineering specifications and design files.
• Install and integrate hardware components such as sensors, motors, and avionics into prototype systems.
• Perform soldering and wiring for electronic components.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing tools and equipment, including CNC machines, 3D printers and hand tools.
• Conduct functional tests on prototypes to verify performance and identify issues.
• Support iterative design improvements and collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and refine prototypes.
