Working Student Mechanical Designer (m/f/d)

Your mission:
• Design and develop aircraft components, as well as jigs and tooling.
• Prepare all required technical documentation, including engineering drawings, work instructions, and verification reports.
• Build, assemble, and test prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Perform simulations and analyses in areas such as structural loads, stress, weight and balance, flight mechanics, aerodynamics, and power consumption.
• Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment for rapid prototyping and part production.

Your profile:
• Currently enrolled in aerospace engineering or a related technical discipline for at least 2 more semesters.
• Strong technical understanding with a keen interest in aerospace, mechanical design, and aerodynamics.
• Solid understanding of overall aircraft systems and functions.
• Proficiency in at least one CAD system (preferably CATIA).
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., FEM and CFD tools).
• Knowledge or experience in composite design is an advantage.
• Solution oriented and independent working style
