About Us:
We’re DASS-X, a 100% BASF subsidiary working in the automotive and chemical industries, and we’re looking for one working student to join our machine learning team. We’re a culturally diverse group, and English is our working language. Our team is curious, collaborative, and enjoys exploring new ideas — we like to learn from each other and have fun while building things that actually matter.

Your tasks:
You’ll be part of a team building an AI agent from start to finish — not a prototype or demo, but something that will actually run and be used. Along the way, you’ll see the full process: how data is handled, how the system is built and tested, and how it behaves in a real environment.

You won’t be on your own — we work closely together, share ideas, and help each other out. Mentorship and guidance are always available, and the focus is on exploring, experimenting, and turning ideas into something that works in practice. If things click, there’s a chance this could lead to a longer-term role, but for now, it’s about learning, collaborating, and building together.

Your profile:
We’re not looking for a long list of skills. If you’ve spent some time with Python and are curious about how machine learning systems are built and used, that’s a great start. What matters most is that you enjoy learning and collaborating with others.

If you’ve worked on any AI-related projects — at university or on your own — we’d love to see them. A GitHub link is perfect, but a ZIP file works too.
