Your mission:
Join our international product marketing team and work directly on Checkmk, a leading IT monitoring solution used by IT professionals worldwide. In this role, you will work alongside our senior team to solve real challenges in a complex market.

We do not require previous work experience—just a strong affinity for technology and the aptitude to grasp technical concepts quickly.

Your Responsibilities

You will take ownership of specific projects that influence our roadmap and strategy, such as:

• Competitive Intelligence: Research and deconstruct competitor moves (e.g., Datadog, Dynatrace, Nagios) to help us maintain our competitive edge and sharpen our positioning.
• User Research: Participate in interviews with IT Administrators and DevOps engineers to uncover their pain points and validate new ideas.
• Product Analysis & PLG: Analyze user flows to identify friction points and propose specific "Product-Led Growth" initiatives to improve the user experience.
• Market Mapping: Research trends in observability, cloud monitoring, and hybrid IT to help us identify new opportunities.
• Content Support: Help translate complex technical features into clear value propositions for our website, internal documentation, and sales assets.

Your profile:
• Tech-Affinity: You don't need to be a developer, but you must be fascinated by how software works. You enjoy learning about concepts like Kubernetes, Server Monitoring, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Fast Learner: You can quickly absorb complex technical information and explain it simply.
• Analytical Mindset: You enjoy synthesizing data or qualitative feedback into clear patterns and insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus).
• Student Status: You are currently enrolled in a university program (Business, CS, Engineering, or similar) and available for [20] hours per week.
