Job Description
Your mission:
As a Working Student in Process Development, you will support our team in visualizing and documenting the processes that govern the operation of our innovative technical systems. You will work closely with the Engineering and Science teams to help design interfaces between hardware and software and lay the groundwork for future software development. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a forward-looking project in an innovative tech startup and to further develop your skills in process modeling and visualization.
• Creating and Updating Process Visualizations: You will assist in visualizing the chamber and its interfaces using various visualization tools (e.g., draw.io, Lucidchart, StarUML) and keep the representations up to date.
• Linking Process Flows and Interfaces: You will develop solutions to efficiently connect processes and interfaces, ensuring that changes in the visualizations are reflected in all relevant documentation, databases, and representations.
• Technical Documentation: You will document interfaces and communication protocols (such as CAN-Bus) and ensure that all relevant information is clearly and comprehensively recorded.
• Supporting Software Preparation: You will actively contribute to selecting software tools for visualizations and process modeling and assist in preparing for software development.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: You will work closely with the Engineering and Science teams to ensure that hardware and processes are efficiently and correctly integrated.
Your profile:
• Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related area.
• Experience in Process Visualization and Modeling: You have practical experience with visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart, StarUML, Enterprise Architect) and/or CAD software and are able to represent complex processes graphically.
• Experience in Technical Documentation: You have experience in creating and structuring technical documentation and can clearly and systematically present interfaces and workflows.
• Interest in Software Development and Process Control: You have a basic understanding of software development and the interaction between software and hardware in complex systems.
• Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills: You enjoy working in a team and can collaborate effectively with different departments to develop solutions together.
• Independence and Problem-Solving Skills: You demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented approach to work and can maintain focus and clarity in a dynamic startup environment.
Why us?:
• A dynamic work environment in an innovative tech startup with plenty of room for initiative and responsibility.
• Close collaboration with experienced experts from Engineering and Science.
• The opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process development and visualization, and to directly contribute to the advancement of a highly complex technical system.
• Flexible working hours and a friendly, open company culture in Berlin-Adlershof, one of the most exciting technology hubs in the city.
