Your mission:
At bliq.ai, we’re building the future of driverless mobility. We’re looking for a Working Student / Intern in Vehicle Prototyping & Assembly who enjoys turning ideas into real, testable hardware.
In this role, you’ll support the development of components and assemblies for our driverless vehicle platform. You’ll work closely with engineers and designers, helping build, assemble, finish, and test mechanical and electronic parts in a hands-on workshop environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants practical experience in prototyping, fabrication, and vehicle integration.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Supporting the fabrication of components using FDM and SLA 3D printing and basic metalworking
• Helping with surface finishing and post-processing, including sanding, painting, and coating
• Assisting with the assembly of mechanical and electronic systems, including soldering, crimping, wiring, and cable routing
• Supporting installation and testing of components on vehicle platforms
• Helping source parts and coordinate with suppliers or external workshops
• Working closely with engineers to improve designs and iterate on prototypes
• Maintaining workshop tools, materials, and equipment
• Contributing to fast, practical problem-solving in day-to-day development work
Your profile:
You could be a great fit if you:
• Are currently enrolled in a degree program such as mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial design, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Have first hands-on experience with prototyping, workshop assembly, or building technical projects
• Are familiar with 3D printing and common workshop tools
• Have basic experience with electronics work such as soldering, crimping and wiring
• Enjoy building things with your hands and solving practical problems
• Work carefully, independently, and with strong attention to detail
• Are proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in cars, vehicle systems, or custom builds is a strong plus
