Working Student - Fraud Operations (f/m/x)

Your mission:
In this role you will:
• Support our fraud prevention operations by monitoring user activity and payment requests, identifying suspicious behavior, and taking appropriate action.
• Understand the importance of fraud prevention and its impact on our business, staying curious about potential risks and loopholes.
• Collaborate with Customer Support to help resolve tickets.
• Detect and flag recurring fraud patterns, collaborating with Product and Tech teams to improve detection measures.
• Stay curious about our industry, develop an understanding of potential loopholes, and adapt quickly to market dynamics and new technologies.

Your profile:
• You are currently enrolled in a university program in Hamburg or the greater Hamburg area.
• 1–2 years of general work experience, ideally in fraud management or similar operational roles, such as call center or support.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills, with an affinity for numbers and data.
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and confident in using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Proactive, independent, and goal-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English (B2+). German is a plus. 
• Enthusiastic about mobile games and online topics.
• Exposure to data analytics, BI reporting, or similar tools is a plus.

Ideally, you can support us between 16-20 hours per week.

Please note: this is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany - working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!
