Working Student - Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Advisory Specialist

Join our dynamic, multicultural team as you kick off your day by analyzing foreign exchange exposures from international projects and product sales. You will support the design and execution of hedging strategies, monitor existing positions, and propose adjustments based on project developments. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in FX risk management, work on impactful projects, and learn how financial decisions safeguard Siemens Energy’s global performance. How You’ll Make an Impact

Deliver FX risk advisory services to commercial managers across global projects.
Identify, assess, and monitor currency exposures throughout project lifecycles.
Design and recommend tailored FX hedging strategies.
Coordinate and execute hedging transactions with treasury operations.
Monitor hedging levels to maintain optimal risk coverage.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (data analysis, financial modeling).
High level of English proficiency (written and spoken).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in FX risk management, treasury, or financial advisory is a plus.

Our mission is to manage and mitigate foreign exchange (FX) risk, ensuring financial stability and supporting strategic decision-making for the business. The team combines deep knowledge in FX Risk Management, with experience ranging from 2 to 18 years, offering a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned experts. We work in a dynamic, international environment, collaborating closely with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, and Business Units. Our focus is on innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging advanced tools and processes to optimize risk management strategies.
