About the role: 

We are looking for a Working Student to join our ESG Reporting & Finance team within FI Accounting & Tax. In this role, you will support our quarterly ESG reporting cycle and contribute to improving essential reporting and finance processes. 

This position is ideal for a motivated, structured, and analytical student with a strong interest in ESG, sustainability, finance, and data. 

The contract duration is 6 months, and you must remain enrolled for the entire period. 

The position requires 16–40 hours per week, with a 60% onsite presence in Sevenum.

 

About your tasks: 

• Support quarterly ESG data collection and reporting activities 

• Conduct initial data quality checks and completeness reviews 

• Assist in preparing quarterly ESG reporting packages 

• Support the improvement and documentation of ESG reporting processes (e.g., process flows, manuals, templates) 

• Collaborate with sustainability and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting 

For students available 4–5 days per week: 

• Support improvement and documentation of finance processes (e.g., lease accounting, inventory accounting, internal reporting) 

• Perform data validation, reconciliations, and analytical tasks 

• Assist in preparing internal reporting deliverables 

About you: 

• You are enrolled in a university program in Business, Sustainability, Finance, Economics,  or a related field and remain enrolled for the full 6-month contract 

• You are motivated, structured, and analytical, with strong interest in ESG and finance 

• You enjoy working with data and have excellent attention to detail 

• You have an advanced Excel level; Power BI is a plus 

• You are available at least 16 hours per week (up to 40 hours possible) 

• You can come to our Sevenum office 60–100% of the time (2–5 days per week), depending on your weekly hours

• You speak fluent English (C1); German is a plus
