What we expect

We are looking for a working student who wants to be part of a dynamic, digitally addicted, multicultural team to set up a data analytics structure in a live corporate environment. You will actively shape the digital transformation of our business, which has high management attention and dedication.

Collect, process, and analyze large and complex data sets.
Support the development and implementation of data analytics solutions.
Prepare presentations, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments to provide data insights that inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
Assist with data quality control processes and ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Participate in data governance and data management initiatives.

Who we are looking for

Advanced bachelor- or early master studies in the field of computer science, data science, statistics, or any equivalent field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in SQL is a must, experience with Python or a similar programming language is nice to have
Experience in data visualization tools like PowerBI is nice to have
An experimental and entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build things from scratch or optimize ones that already exist.
Fluent in spoken and written English. German is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Prior internship or work experience in a related field is preferred.

What we offer

Collaborate with and learn from our data engineers, data scientists, and data architects on projects with real business impact
Work on a state-of-the-art cloud data platform using Azure Cloud, Databricks, and PowerBI
Build production-grade data pipelines and deploy them
Analyze large datasets (>1 TB) of both IoT data and business process data
Duration of the internship: January-July (can be adjusted)
Schedule: 5 hours/day; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (can be adjusted)
