About the job
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career in data migration and Workday by joining a newly created Data Migration team at a pivotal moment. With 80% involvement in complex global projects — including implementations, data migrations, reporting and visualization initiatives, data sharing agreements, and data foundation developments — this role will support mission-critical data mapping and loading activities that directly impact business operations, M&A success, and compliance.
You will work under the Data Migration and Conversion Lead and have an expertise in Workday and EiB loads.
Key Responsibilities
Data Mapping Support
• Assist in building and maintaining source-to-Workday field mappings for loads
• Support documentation of transformation logic, validation rules, and value conversions
• Learn and apply country-specific data standardization approaches
• Support mapping activities under the guidance of senior analysts
Bulk Load Execution Support
• Assist in executing Workday bulk loads using EIB and approved tools
• Support design and validation of templates, sequencing, and dependencies
• Prepare loads for review by senior analysts
• Follow approved governance processes and standards at all times
Migration Delivery Support
• Support end-to-end migration execution including mock loads, reconciliations, and production loads
• Assist in maintaining migration playbooks and cutover plans
• Support test load execution and result validation
• Assist in reconciliations between source and target systems
M&A Support
• Assist in assessing and mapping incoming HR data for acquisitions
• Support cleansing, transformation, and loading activities for acquired populations
• Support data extraction and separation activities for divestitures
• Contribute to Day 1 readiness preparation for employee data in Workday
Data Quality Assurance
• Perform basic pre-load data quality checks
• Identify and escalate data quality issues to senior analysts
• Support Data Governance and Data Quality teams on remediation activities
• Assist in guarding the People Data Model via correct data preparation
Documentation & Audit Support
• Assist in maintaining audit trails, reconciliation reports, and rollback procedures
• Support load documentation maintenance and compliance
• Assist with audit and compliance requirements
About you
Required Qualifications
• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Data Management, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Workday EiB and HCM Certified
• Experience working in team environments
Technical Skills
• Strong Python, Excel and data automation and manipulation skills required
• Worked with Informatica or other ETL tools
• Basic SQL knowledge would be beneficial
• Workday HCM knowledge and EiB load preparation and execution
• Understanding of data concepts and data quality principles
• Comfortable learning new technical tools and systems

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with data analysis or data quality and conversio tools
• Strong understanding of Workday and EiB Loads
• Workday Certification: EiB Manager and HCM
• Knowledge of data governance principles
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
• Familiarity with process documentation and standard operating procedures
• Exposure to project management or Agile methodologies

• Successful support of bulk load execution with minimal errors in Workday
• Consistent adherence to data quality standards and governance processes
• Timely completion of assigned migration activities within project timelines
• Accurate and complete documentation of all work performed
• Proactive identification and escalation of data quality issues
• Strong collaboration with other analysts and team members
• Continuous learning and skill development in Workday and data migration
• Meaningful contribution to successful M&A integrations and data migrations
