We are looking for an experienced Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant to lead and support end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Workday Advanced Compensation module. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in compensation processes, strong hands-on Workday configuration experience, and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to design scalable and compliant compensation solutions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate compensation planning, seamless annual cycles, and alignment with organizational reward strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Workday Advanced Compensation & Configuration
• Lead the configuration and maintenance of the Workday Advanced Compensation module, including compensation plans, eligibility rules, guidelines, budgets, and compensation cycles.
• Configure and support merit increases, bonus plans, stock awards, allowances, and variable pay components.
• Manage annual, mid-year, and off-cycle compensation review processes within Workday.
• Ensure accurate setup of compensation grades, ranges, step plans, and eligibility criteria.
Implementation & Enhancements
• Participate in full lifecycle Workday implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Translate business compensation requirements into scalable Workday solutions aligned with best practices.
• Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and new feature adoption related to Advanced Compensation.
• Support integrations and downstream impacts on payroll, benefits, and financial modules.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Support
• Partner with HR, Total Rewards, Finance, and leadership teams to support compensation strategy and operational needs.
• Provide expert guidance on Workday compensation capabilities and recommend process improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for compensation-related queries and system issues.
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and data accuracy checks related to compensation.
Testing, Reporting & Data Management
• Develop and execute test scripts for compensation cycles, enhancements, and releases.
• Support compensation reporting, dashboards, and data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and resolve defects in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience with Workday, with strong focus on Advanced Compensation.
• Proven experience in Workday implementation and configuration, including at least one end-to-end implementation.
• Deep understanding of compensation processes, merit cycles, bonuses, and incentive programs.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Workday certification in Advanced Compensation or related HCM modules.
• Experience working in global compensation environments.
• Exposure to Workday Payroll or integrations is a plus.
