• Troubleshoot/resolve service impairments in roaming, transport services, network hardware & software faults, translations, and voice/data network elements.

• Correlating customer complaints with network element performance to resolve service impacting conditions.

• Min 1-2 yr’s exp in wireless voice/data networks.

• Knowledge of data network elements and protocols including; TCP/IP, MPLS, OSI, Frame relay, ATM, X.25, RIP, OSPF, BGP, ISDN, SS7, other LAN/WAN protocols.

• Reporting, access and troubleshooting tools (Remedy trouble ticketing, Xpercom, Agilent and SANE).

• Knowledge of Lucent, Nortel, Compaq HLRs, and Motorola databases.

• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex voice/data platform messages.

• Knowledge of call and digit-by-digit routing translations and dialing plans.
