Patching & Windows Responsibility

 Windows 2008/2012/2016 knowledge & Experienced in large scale Production Support Server Environment.

 Troubleshooting skills on Windows server (Blue Screen Errors, performance & capacity issues, permissions

issues)

 Work with team in administrative and design tasks for the virtualized & Microsoft server infrastructure.

 An ability to learn new technologies quickly Good time management skills with strong documentation skills.

 Hands-on of DNS, DHCP, WINS, VMware/Citrix/Hyper-V and related components

 Work with Local & Global Teams

 Perform in 24 x 7 environment in shift roaster and attend calls whenever assigned.

 Work as Subject Matter Expert for Patch Management Process and Patch Management Operations across

Technology Towers

 Acquire Knowledge and detailed understanding on Customer’s Patching Environment across Technology Towers

 Validate Scope of Work and Due Diligence of Data and identify gaps in terms of Patch Operations.

 Responsible to work and interact with internal teams, vendors and customers to coordinate teams and ensure

timely implementation of Patch Management Process and timely readiness of Patch Management Operations

 Work effectively with diverse type of customers from different time zones.

 Gather required and detailed information and develop Patching Process Documentations and Patching SOPs with

complete understanding of customer Patching Requirements and Patch Operations Environment.

 Responsible for giving reverse knowledge transfer to BAU teams and getting sign-off from customer and internal

stakeholders.

 Anticipate risks and challenges well in advance and effectively articulate risks & challenges and get sign-off on

Patching Process, Risk Register and other operational documents. Propose risk mitigation plan and options. Work

with the internal and external eco system to mitigate risks in good time.

 Participate in project planning and prepare MPP.

 Knowledge and ability to identify the risks on the customer Patching Operations & make recommendations of

solutions according to the industry best practices relevant for customer landscape.

 Change management in customer end for Patch Management requirements.

 Self-driven and motivated individual who can lead from the front and take end to end ownership of the Patch

Management Process and Patching Operations for seamless transition and smooth Go Live of Patching Services

from the perspective of People, Process and Technology.



 As per the Project Requirement.

Expected Skills / Experience

 Minimum 8-10+ years of hands on experience in managing the complete Lifecycle of Enterprise Patch

Management and Patching Operations in Data Centre Services.

 Good understanding on the Patch Management Process and Patching Operations of Windows Servers

 Strong hands on experience in Windows Platform with 2016/2012/2008 operating systems.

 Experience in Production Server Environment with Wintel servers.

 Strong Knowledge about user administration and File system management activities.

 Experience in OS Hardening, performance and OS tuning.

 Fair knowledge and working experience in SCVMM-2012/2016

 Experience and hands on experience on Installing, Configuring & Troubleshooting Hyper-V infra

 Good communication skills both written and verbal.

 Remote support management.

 Vendor Management.

 Knowledge of ITIL Process

Additional Qualification / Skills :

 Strong Knowledge on Monitoring tools like MOM, SCOM.etc. is an added advantage.

 VMWARE / Microsoft Windows certifications are an added advantage
