So, what are the main responsibilities of a Windows Packaging Engineer in Netcompany? 

As a Windows Packaging Engineer, you will:

• Create MSI packages with InstallShield according to the client's recommendations.
• Create virtual App-V packages with InstallShield and Microsoft Application Virtualization.
• Assess applications and compatibility tests under Windows.
• Deploy Windows packages with SCCM.
• Deploy Windows packages deployment with InTune.
• Create PowerShell scripts in order to deploy applications.
• Support and troubleshoot for deployed packages.

What would make you a fit for the role:

• University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive knowledge in Packaging tools such as InstallShield, Microsoft Application Virtualization, SCCM and InTune.
• Good command in scripting language such as PowerShell, VBScript.
• Good Knowledge of MS Windows OS family / Understanding of Windows architecture and APP-V Infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot (analyse and debug) software malfunctions.
• Knowledge of GPO/ local policies and Local Firewall Rules.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English; knowledge of French/any other EU languages is an asset.
• Knowledge of/or experience in ITIL environment and previous experience working with European Institutions is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Work shifts of 8 hours covering the time range between 07h00 and 20h00 from Monday to Friday with some flexibility required when overtime is exceptionally needed.
