IDEALFORCE has a Contract position available immediately for a Windows Application Administrator to join our customer in Santa Clara, CA. This is an ONSITE position. Experience with all aspects of Windows systems administration; including event, performance and capacity monitoring, planning and reporting.
System administration experience with Microsoft Servers.
Experience or knowledge with Active Directory / LDAP (including LDAP queries) and SQL Server.
Experience and strong working knowledge of SQL Server
Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 as backend to enterprise web applications.
Light SQL admin experience (e.g. Running Stored Procedures, managing maintenance plans, DB restores/backups).
Web application development experience a plus.
Good understanding of how roles/ permissions works in the web applications.
Experience with application administration.
Production support and resolving the tickets on a timely manner
Experience with XML/XSLT
Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands DNS, SMTP, Network Load Balancing, clustering and Windows firewalls
Web application server deployment experience using IIS
Experience with VMware(ESX, ESXi)
Experience IIS Manager and IIS 6.0 & 7.0 Architecture
Experience in installing enterprise server software and performing operational tests.
Ability to create presentations and brief at all levels of the organizational hierarchy.
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences
Be accountable and with strong sense of ownership and excellent execution skills
Good Communication and time management Skills
Should know how to use apple products like Mail, pages, numbers, keynote etc
Prior Apple experience is a plus.
