Wholesale Sales Intern - Internal Opportunity

Tecovas is looking for a Wholesale Sales Intern to provide crucial support to the sales team by managing samples, processing orders, assisting with account updates, and preparing presentation decks. Reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Accounts, Wholesale, you will gain hands-on experience with customer communication, data management, and the day-to-day operations of a wholesale business.

This position is based out of Austin, TX with regular in office attendance expected. Must be available for the full duration of the internship (12 weeks).

Please note that this internship opportunity is available only to current and active Tecovas employees. If you are not a Tecovas employee, you will not be considered for this position.

What you’ll do:

• Manage samples and line sheets

• Assist with account management, including system updates and the purchase order approval process.

• Help with order processing and customer communication.

• Prepare and build decks for presentations.

• Perform data input and recap account sales

Experience we’re looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Sales, or related field

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

• An understanding of retail math

What you bring to the table:

• You are a motivated, passionate, and positive go-getter who is eager to learn.

• You have the ability to prioritize and manage day-to-day tasks in real time.

Requirements

• Must be located in the Austin, TX area

• Must be available to work up to 32 hours per week, Monday - Friday (between the hours of 8AM-5PM CST)

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

• Must have reliable transportation

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly

• Internship program culminates with a presentation to our leadership team summarizing your experience at Tecovas with key takeaways and feedback regarding the program.
