Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. 

Reporting to the Seamgas Superintendent, the Wellfield Technician: Electrical will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of gas drainage infrastructure including SIS, UIS and goaf wells in line with the Moranbah North Mine gas drainage plan and other safety, environment and statutory legislation.

• Focus on zero harm and maintenance and performance monitoring on liquid ring vacuum pumps, CS Gas blower skids, liquid ring compressors, flow metering devices, temperature and pressure sensing instrumentation, gas and diesel generators and Hazardous area electrical maintenance.     
• You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge in gas processing facilities and well infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime of the equipment. Knowledge in Citect and Allen Bradley PLC experience is highly desirable.
• You will be a collaborative team member who actively contributes to the success of our team to safely deliver production targets and implement continuous improvement projects.

To be successful in the role you will have the following:

• Electrical Trade or Instrumentation qualification
• Experience in Instrumentation, EEHA is mandatory
• Experience with SAP is also preferred.
• Proven experience in Hazardous area electrical maintenance

• Full-time, permanent position
• 8 on /6 Off Roster
• Location: Moranbah North Mine
• Residential, DIDO and FIFO (salary sacrifice) Options
