Overview
IMI is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our team in Sedalia CO. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in assembling and fabricating metal components for ornamental rails/ misc. metal structures. Ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are met. With this role you will also assist in the Parts Department as needed.
Duties
Perform welding tasks using MIG.
Weld ornamental railing/ misc. metal structures according to blueprints and specifications.
Operate hand tools.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications.
Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Assist with the parts department as needed.
Skills
Proficient in welding techniques such as MIG.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools effectively.
Experience in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
Experience with press brake machines and plate shears is a plus.
Will be a welding test if selected for an interview. (T-Joint in the 3 G and 4 G position)
