Job Description
We are seeking skilled Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various welding and fabrication tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Perform welding duties using MIG, TIG, wire welder, spot welder, and/or oxy-acetylene torch
• Clean and dress welds as required
• Set up and lay out work using material handling equipment or hand layouts to fabricate or rework finished products
• Manually set up and operate hand-held sanders, grinders, wire wheels, and other finishing tools
• Weld I-beams, frames, and fuel tanks in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Clamp, hold, tack weld, drill, mill, tap, cut, and/or bolt components together to achieve required configurations
• Inspect products, equipment, and tools for defects or malfunctions
• Create quality welds according to blueprints and specifications
• Inspect completed welds and perform rework as necessary
• Change wire and gas on welding machines as needed
• Ensure equipment is properly set up and used safely during the welding process
• Maintain welding equipment and machines; perform regular inspections and request maintenance when needed
• Assist with pressure testing of fabricated components when required and perform rework as necessary
• Complete work within established time and quality standards
• Accurately record time and completed work through timesheets
• Report material, production, quality, or safety issues to supervisors or management

Qualifications:
• Previous welding experience preferred (skill level may vary based on assessment)
• Experience using welding equipment and fabrication tools
• Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools
Education & Training:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• MIG Welding Certification preferred
• TIG Welding Certification is a plus
• Vocational or prior welding training is a plus
