Job Description

John Mini is seeking a highly knowledgeable and skilled Welder for the fabrication and installation of indoor and outdoor projects.

As part of the Fabrication team at John Mini, you will be responsible for producing high-quality metalwork for custom projects, supporting both shop fabrication and on-site installation. This role is ideal for someone with strong welding experience, solid fabrication knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Fabricate decorative ornamental and architectural metalwork

Perform semi-structural and architectural welding

Assist with custom metal fabrication for indoor and outdoor projects

Support installation of finished metalwork on site

Apply metal finishing techniques as needed

Operate and maintain metal fabrication machinery and equipment

Service and maintain shop machinery

Read and interpret architectural, millwork, and engineering drawings

Problem-solve complex fabrication and installation conditions

Work closely with a team of fabricators to meet project timelines

Bring your skills to support other departments when needed

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience in metal fabrication

Welding experience required; Arc, MIG, and TIG experience strongly preferred

Experience with architectural or semi-structural welding

Ability to read and comprehend architectural, millwork, and engineering drawings

Knowledge of metal fabrication machinery and equipment maintenance

High school diploma or GED

Strong communication and organizational skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift 75 lbs.
