Job Description

Join our client, a long-established, AS9100-certified manufacturing company with over 65 years of success! We’re looking for an experienced Weld Mentor to help train, guide, and certify our welding team. If you’re passionate about your craft and enjoy helping others grow, this is the role for you.

You will have the opportunity to:

Train and assist in the certification of all new welders

Support ongoing training and recertification for current welders

Observe, coach, and provide hands-on guidance to improve welding skills and techniques

Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on welding equipment

Maintain high-quality welding standards in line with AWS and company specifications

What we are looking for:

Expert-level welding knowledge and skills

10+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience

Prior experience in a lead, senior, or trainer role

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints

Experience welding to AWS D17.1 & D1.2 Aluminum and D1.1 & D1.2 Steel standards

Ability to pass Aluminum 2G and 3G (.090 square groove GMAW) qualification tests during the interview (visually acceptable coupons submitted for RT)
