About the Role:
A strategic HR Business Partner to shape people strategies that drive business success, partnering with senior leadership across Group Office and WeLab Bank to align talent capabilities with organizational growth objectives
What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role:
Serve as trusted strategic advisor to senior executives and functional leaders; design and execute pragmatic people solutions that solve complex business challenges and align talent strategies with WeLab's growth priorities
Facilitate organizational redesign and change management for integrations, restructures, and transformation initiatives, building simpler, nimbler structures that drive operational efficiency and enable agile ways of working
Manage employee relations and performance management frameworks; handle complex cases including performance improvement, grievances, and redundancies
Collaborate with budget holders and COEs on headcount planning, compensation benchmarking, and learning solutions aligned with business priorities
Partner with COEs for organizational talent reviews; conduct comprehensive assessments to identify high-potential leaders and ensure leadership bench strength for business growth
Drive data-driven workforce planning and recruitment strategy, leveraging analytics for resourcing effectiveness, employer branding, and sustainable talent pipeline development
Manage end-to-end recruitment for senior and critical roles, overseeing sourcing, assessment, and hiring processes with stakeholder alignment
Engage in ad-hoc strategic projects, providing HR expertise and participating in high-impact special initiatives and cross-functional taskforces
Drive HR process automation and enhancement through AI and digitalization, optimizing hiring process, onboarding, and employee experience for efficiency gains
What is required and what we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; at least 8 years HRBP experience in fintech or financial service industry
Proven C-suite advisory track record with success in organizational transformations is essential
Expertise in organization design, talent strategy, succession planning, and data-driven recruitment
Strong presentation skills with analytical and leadership influence
Excellent written/verbal communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Hong Kong employment law required; Knowledge of China labour law an advantage
Team player with “never not my job” attitude and growth mindset
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
