Position Overview

The Wedding Event Coordinator is responsible for day-of wedding coordination and execution of weddings and catered events planned by our Sales and Specialist Team. You’ll manage timelines, communicate with clients and vendors, and lead banquet/event staff to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish.

This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role that requires strong organization, calm under pressure, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Execute weddings and catered events according to contract and timeline

Train, supervise, and lead banquet staff

Coordinate event flow and ensure all details are completed accurately

Communicate with clients and vendors before and during events

Inspect venue setup, menus, and timelines prior to event start

Remain present throughout the event to ensure guest satisfaction

Supervise breakdown and ensure equipment is properly stored

Qualifications

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused

Strong leadership and communication skills

Food service and/or hospitality experience preferred

Must be flexible and available for weekends, evenings, holidays, and late nights

Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to serve alcohol in Maryland

Physical Requirements

10+ hour shifts on your feet

Moving tables and chairs

Working indoor and outdoor tented events

Frequently lifting up to 30 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
