Education

• Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science (or equivalent).

Certifications

• IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V8.0 or above

Experience

• 2 - 4 years managing a medium-scale WebSphere production environment.

• 8+ years with IBM Websphere Network Deployment.

• 4+ years with IBM Websphere Portal.

• 5+ years with IBM AIX, Redhat Linux and Microsoft Windows Server.

• 4+ years process development, support and implementation of systems architecture.

• 4+ years experience with solution architecture and integration design.

Knowledge

• Advanced knowledge of IBM Websphere Network Deployment and Websphere Portal Server.

• Advanced knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition and .NET frameworks.

• Advanced knowledge of standard WebSphere tools to debug application and system performance issues.

• Advanced Knowledge of tuning IBM WebSphere environments.

• Intermediate knowledge with Tivoli WebSeal, IBM/Apache HTTP Server, Tivoli Directory Server and Tivoli Access Manager.

• Intermediate knowledge of software release management and the SDLC.

• Intermediate knowledge of Redhat Linux and Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012.

• Intermediate knowledge of Linux/Unix and wsadmin scripting.
