As a website marketing strategist, you will drive business outcomes through data-informed optimisation and cross-functional collaboration. This 6-month engagement offers the opportunity to shape website strategy that directly impacts pipeline generation and revenue growth during a critical transformation period.

This role requires sophisticated strategic thinking combined with hands-on analytical capability. The website marketing strategist will translate complex web performance data into actionable business recommendations whilst maintaining strong relationships with technical teams, product marketing, and revenue operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Impact

• Develop quarterly strategic roadmaps connecting website initiatives to pipeline and revenue targets, with clear business cases and success criteria
• Design and execute conversion funnel optimisation strategies, mapping user journeys and identifying high-impact improvement opportunities
• Create data-driven performance analytics frameworks that connect web metrics to business outcomes, enabling executive-level reporting
• Develop and implement A/B testing programmes with prioritised hypothesis backlogs focused on conversion rate improvements
• Define SEO strategy including competitive analysis, ROI forecasting, and integration with broader demand generation initiatives
• Optimise ecommerce trial funnels and regional pathway effectiveness to drive qualified lead generation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Digital Apps team to coordinate development priorities and technical implementation timelines
• Integrate website strategy with paid media campaigns, content initiatives, and demand generation programmes
• Collaborate with Website Marketing Manager on technical execution and platform management handoffs
• Present monthly performance analyses with strategic recommendations to marketing leadership

Key Deliverables

• Quarterly strategic roadmaps with business cases and success metrics
• Monthly performance analyses with conversion trends and strategic recommendations
• Testing strategy documentation with prioritised hypothesis backlog
• ROI-focused project business cases for major initiatives

• 5+ years in B2B SaaS or enterprise software website marketing, with demonstrated pipeline impact
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience translating web metrics into business outcomes and executive-level insights
• Proven track record developing and executing conversion optimisation strategies that drive measurable results
• Experience with SEO strategy, competitive analysis, and ROI forecasting in B2B contexts
• Demonstrates ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams, managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
• Excellent strategic communication skills, able to present complex analyses and recommendations clearly to various audiences

Skills we're looking for:

• Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics and web analytics platforms
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, or similar) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
• Working knowledge of ABM platforms (6sense or similar) for account-based website strategies
• Understanding of modern web technologies and CMS platforms to communicate effectively with technical teams
• Experience with A/B testing tools and experimentation frameworks
