The WebOps Engineer will work closely with Delivery Manager, Technical Architect & Developers.

What the specialist will work on The WebOps Engineer will work closely with development team to ensure continuous delivery capabilities.

Work setup

Address where the work will take place UK Trade & Investment, London

Working arrangements Work will be on-site in London (Mon-Fri).

Security clearance BPSS is required for all personnel. Customer will sponsor SC.

Skills and experience

Technical competence: essential skills and experience

• The WebOps Engineer needs to be a multidisciplinary expert who have a deep understanding of networks, firewalls, load-balancing, high availability, disaster recovery, TCP & UDP services, NOC management
• Plus Cloud hosting (Amazon AWS), "0" downtime deploy strategies, containerisation (Docker)
• Plus Development background (Python)
• Plus software pipeline design (Jenkins, artefacts registry)Technical competence: nice-to-have skills and experience
• User level experience with PaaS (i.e. Heroku, Cloud Foundry)
• Kubernetes or Mesos experience
