Job Title : Web Experience Manager (Sitecore) (with experience on Sitecore CMS projects v6 and v7, ASP.NET & C#)

Job Location : Chicago, ILLINOIS

Job Type : Full time (This position may require some travel and or relocation)

Interview Type : Telephonic with Skype

Required:

• At least 3 years of experience in Sitecore CMS projects (v6 and v7), Experience in version 8 is an advantage.

• Strong technical hands on knowledge of Sitecore including best practices and features.

• Good understanding of Web development, information architecture, CMS and integrated technologies.

• Ability to map loosely defined business requirements to specific technical solutions.

• Experience in design and development of multi lingual / multi country websites.

• Strong experience in high level and detailed solution design and build validation. Experience in content migration projects.

• Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and JQUERY, Responsive Web Design.

• Strong ASP.NET C# experience (framework v2, v3.5, v4) and MVC framework.

• Strong knowledge of IIS, Team Foundation Server.

• Solid programming knowledge of the following databases (MS SQL Server and Oracle).

• Demonstrated experience in integration using APIs and webservices.

• Must have at least 4 years .NET project related experience.

• Data Infrastructure. Content Items.

• Presentation - specifically Web Controls. Placeholder framework.

• Rules framework. Binding content and presentation

• Workflow engine. Platform administration and tuning.

• Experience in analyzing and resolving performance issues with Sitecore CMS.

• Specifically for Sitecore, Sitecore API, Kernel and Sitecore. Client libraries. Sitecore concepts including Layouts, Sub layouts, Templates, CM/CD environments, Sitecore caching, Serialization, Sitecore configuration, Sitecore deployment, Security etc.

• Track record of leading a Sitecore development team of at least 6 developers.

• Strong Analytical skills. Conversant with release management. Conversant with unit testing automation

• The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.

• Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Qualifications Basic:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
