Web Developer (m/f/d) - AI-First Website Team

Your daily workout:
Join our team in Munich or Berlin to build technology that moves people and shapes the future of fitness. You own the hands-on build-out of EGYM's new website. Working inside an existing React codebase connected to Sanity (headless CMS) and deployed on GCP, you ship new pages, components, and content integrations — fast. • Website Development & UX: You develop new React components and page elements based on designs, briefs, or your own initiative. You implement responsive layouts, animations, and interactive elements and shape the experience & design
• Content Management Workflows: You connect frontend components to Sanity CMS content models (GROQ queries, schema updates, preview setup) and fine-tune our editor workflows
• Performance and Security: You ensure that performance, accessibility, security, and SEO basics are met

Your fitness level:
• AI-first builder mindset: You default to using AI tools for coding - fast, iterative, and pragmatic. Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI coding assistants power your workflow. You don't write every line from scratch — you prompt, review, iterate, and ship, resulting in production-quality frontend code delivered at a pace that a traditional engineering workflow can't match
• Solid frontend fundamentals: You understand React (components, props, state, hooks), HTML/CSS, and responsive design well enough to read and fix AI code
• Headless CMS experience: You've worked with Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, or similar. You understand content modeling and structured content. Experience with Sanity.io is a plus
• Autonomy & ownership: You are versatile with the full website toolchain. Adjusting graphics, checking analytics, and optimizing performance are part of your daily work. You take a brief, figure out the approach, build it, and ship it
• Design & Experience: You think in digital experiences and understand the interplay between marketing objectives, UX, and web performance

Your training goal for your first 6 months:
• Ownership: You take shared ownership of the EGYM Websites. You can efficiently react to requests from the Marketing team.
• Scaling: You have created a fitting toolchain with the help of AI to quickly and reliably deliver results
• EGYM Knowledge: You familiarize yourself with the EGYM ecosystem and the purpose of each section of the website. You can advise the Marketing team on future projects. You are part of the Software Engineering-driven knowledge sharing session and some fitting communities of practice
• Team Integration: You become a fully integrated and respected member of the Marketing team with a good connection to the Software Engineering team
