About the Role

Neon One is hiring a Web Designer to join our Customer Support and Enablement team and help nonprofit organizations successfully launch beautiful, functional websites on the Neon Websites platform. This is a role that blends hands-on website design with strong project management and client communication, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both creative work and guiding projects to completion.

You’ll work directly with nonprofit clients throughout a 10–12 week website lifecycle, helping them stay on track, gathering required content, and ensuring projects move forward smoothly from kickoff through launch.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to design, develop, and implement beautiful new Duda websites on the Neon Websites platform.

• Directly manages a portfolio of new clients, serving as the client’s main point of contact for Website meets starting immediately after contract signing all the way through site launch.

• Take the lead on a significant portion of the project lifecycle: information architecture, visual design, content strategy, and implementation of the site.

• Lead live web-based client meetings, including introductory meetings, feedback sessions, and training sessions.

• Creates content pages and recommends appropriate widgets within Duda

• Work closely with the Neon CRM implementation team to onboard clients into both platforms (their Neon Website and Neon CRM). Assist customers with the integration between their website and their Neon CRM system.

• Effectively scope out and organize the workload of projects and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated excellence in client communication and ability to proactively guide clients through project tasks to completion.

• Respond to technical support tickets from clients with Website needs.

• Contributes to the overall goals of the Websites team.

Must Haves

• 2+ years experience implementing websites using a Content Management platform.

• Experience working in Website front-end editors.

• Experience leading technology projects and familiarity with project management tools.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.

• A good eye for aesthetics. Candidates are expected to be able to create polished, professional designs.

• Ability to establish time estimates for work and communicate effectively around deadlines and deliverables.

• Ability to manage a workload of about multiple projects simultaneously throughout their lifecycle.
