Great design is one of the defining characteristics of Boomtrain. Our brand is about both trust and quality, and it's correspondingly crucial that we convey both through our design. Whether it's designing a great marketing page, sales brochure or an interface, our design team is involved in making sure everything that Boomtrain launches looks great and works well. We tend to look for full-stack designers. Most of our designers are comfortable making detailed graphics, figuring out how an application should work and feel, and turning their ideas into working prototypes using HTML and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Manage design deliverables
• Support User Experience strategy and innovation
• Demonstrate expertise in visual interface design and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of products on Print, web and mobile platforms 
• Create the visual language strategy (brand applications, visual design specs, information design, color systems, typographic rules, grid systems and other visual assets) for medium-sized, diverse projects that support the brand strategy and user goals
• Work with product team to develop strategic direction and pixel perfect product designs
• Mentor Associate Designers and Designers in day-to-day design methodology and principles

You'd be a good fit if you have:

• A minimum 6 years of experience  
• A good process that works in a highly collaborative environment.
• A strong and opinionated visual design style.
• Exceptional ability in graphic design and typography, preferably with experience in digital consumer products
• Understanding of branding as it relates to user experience
• Superb ability to apply a brand's look and feel across Print, web and mobile

• Understanding of interaction design patterns related to web and mobile design
• Strong information design abilities
• Technical understanding of interface design in an Agile development environment
• Genuinely curious about technology. AI space moves fast, and to design for emerging platforms, one has to use emerging platforms and be curious about how they work
• Expert-level proficiency of common graphics design and web design tools
• A proven track record of interactive UI design with preferable hands on experience building products from inception to launch
• Love whiteboards and brainstorming, particularly in geographically distributed team
