Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a €31 Billion international wholesaler with operations in more than 30 countries. The store network comprises a total of 623 stores in 21 countries, of which 522 offer out-of-store delivery (OOS), and 94 dedicated depots. In 12 countries, METRO runs only the delivery business by its delivery companies (Food Service Distribution, FSD).

HoReCa and Traders are core customer groups of METRO. The HoReCa section includes hotels, restaurants, catering companies as well as bars, cafés and canteen operators. The Traders section includes small grocery stores and kiosks. The majority of all customer groups are small and medium-sized enterprises as well as sole traders. METRO helps them manage their business challenges more effectively.

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide HR, Finance, IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the careers section of our website in English and German.
• Implement basic HTML and CSS to ensure content is displayed correctly.
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud tools (XD, Photoshop) to update and create basic design elements based on existing brand manual.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure all web content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with our brand guidelines and talent attraction intentions.
• Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues with external providers.
• Suggest improvements based on website performance.
• Support colleagues from METRO/makro countries and entities with technical issues they are experiencing when it comes to updating careers website.
• Create documentation and instructions, as well as organize knowledge sharing sessions to support colleagues from different countries.
• Share updates in front of a global audience of experts in Employer Branding and Recruitment.
• Maintain information in Social Media performance software Emplifi.
• Assist in the creation of graphics and other visual elements as needed.
• Continuous updating of knowledge related to web and UX design trends in Europe.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors in the domain of UX/UI design, web design, digital marketing or computer science.

Work Experience:

• Min 2 years of experience in web content creation, digital marketing or similar.
• Advanced usage of Office365 tools, especially PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe XD or similar design tools, like Figma.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
• Familiarity with social media platforms, like Linkedin, Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with focus on delivering within strict deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while not being co-located.
• English language skills (C1 level) in reading, writing and speaking.
• German language skills (A2 level) in reading and writing would be considered a plus.
• SEO knowledge would be desirable.
