What You'll Do
As a Weaver, you'll be responsible for operating circular weaving looms, and maintaining loom creels. You will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, communicating with your team, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Operating and maintaining circular weaving looms
Changing weft bobbins on the looms, and loading and maintaining the creels that hold the wrap yarn for the loom
Inspecting jackets and checking the loom creels
Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the A-Weaver
Attaining production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision
Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Complying with all OSHA and Puck rules and regulations.
Following the Puck Quality Assurance Program by accurately performing the required tasks as directed by team leader
Completing transactions in the ERP system
Accurately recording time worked and allocated time to the appropriate job(s)
Operating a forklift as needed

Required:
High school diploma or GED, OR 3–6 months of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Industry experience
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role in a manufacturing environment. Team members must be able to:
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, crouch, and crawl frequently throughout the shift
Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance
Regularly reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs., frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Maintain close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, team members are frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and performs work at a variety of different angles and body positions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Appropriate PPE is required and provided.
