Specific Roles and Responsibilities That Create the Essential Toronto Experience:

• Operate washing machine, ensuring proper quality of laundry meeting the days requirements
• Ensure all equipment is in working condition.
• Report any malfunctions to the laundry mechanic or laundry manager
• Load washer; ensure proper load requirements are met.
• Unload the washer when the cycle is completed
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager
• Clean the washer and the surrounding area
• Comply with hotel policies and procedures

Your experience and skills include:

• Fluency in English (written and verbal) a must
• Minimum high school diploma
• Teamwork approach to all duties and helpful attitude with co-workers
• Efficient and effective approach to completing all tasks
• Previous experience in laundry is preferred

Physical Aspects of Position (included but not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
